Hello organic 😍😍

On top of starting a keto lifestyle about a year ago. I started opting for organic food when available as well. And guess what? I’ve never felt better! My body has less toxins and it shows. My skin glows, I’m energized and my body doesn’t feel like a sack of potatoes. Yes, it’s more expensive, but you feel better && your food tastes better.

Organic Cooking

One of the struggles I had with going fully organic was not knowing where to start. How do I cook this stuff? What was I suppose to buy at the grocery store? I can’t just live off the farmer’s market / local food co-op. More questions began to pop into my head causing an overwhelming sensation which probably caused me to eat processed snacks to be honest. I’m an emotional eater. Then loathe and behold, Kristin Cavallari announced her new cookbook – True Roots: A Mindful Kitchen with More than 100 Recipes Free of Gluten, Dairy & Refined Sugar. 😍😍 It was a dream come true. I pre-ordered my edition and boom – I started cooking!

True Roots has been my ultimate cookbook. I have tried about half of the recipes and haven’t thrown any in the garbage. In fact, I write on my recipes substitutions and if I like, dislike. Chefs, I haven’t substituted a damn thing, and each recipe says good! I loved it so much, I bought a copy for all the ladies in my family and they love it too!
